What to expect
Here’s How the Workshop Works
The Enneagram for Teams experience is a structured half-day that moves from individual insight to group understanding. It's interactive, often surprisingly moving, and always practical.
Individual assessments (before the workshop)
Each team member completes a validated Enneagram assessment through the Enneagram Institute. Tracy reviews results ahead of time so the workshop time is spent on insight, not logistics.
Introduction to the Enneagram (group)
Tracy walks the team through what the Enneagram is, how it differs from other personality tools, and — crucially — how to use it constructively rather than as a label or excuse.
Type exploration and group discussion
Team members explore their own types, share what resonates, and begin to see the patterns in how they interact with each other. This is usually where the real moments happen.
Practical application for your team
The session closes with concrete takeaways — how to communicate across types, how to recognize stress behaviors in yourself and others, and how to carry the insight forward.
Why the Enneagram?
You've probably done DISC or Myers-Briggs.
Here's what's different about the Enneagram.
Most personality tools describe how people behave. The Enneagram goes a level deeper — it explains WHY. That distinction matters enormously in a team setting, because behavior is what you see, but motivation is what drives it.

Common Questions
FAQ
-
Not at all. The workshop is designed to be a complete introduction. Some participants will have taken a free online test before — Tracy will address that context and explain why a validated assessment gives you more to work with.
-
No. While Tracy is a licensed counselor, the team workshop is a professional development and team-building experience — not a clinical service. It's engaging and sometimes personal, but it's designed to be educational and for the workplace context.
-
Healthy skepticism is welcome. Tracy addresses this directly in the workshop and the Enneagram tends to earn its own credibility — most skeptics find themselves surprised by how accurately it captures what motivates them.
-
Yes. The workshop can work online and has been delivered to remote and hybrid teams. Tracy will walk you through the logistics during the inquiry process.
-
The sweet spot is teams of 6–10 people. Smaller than that and the group dynamic can feel limited; larger and the workshop gets harder to facilitate in a single, customized session. Have a bigger team? Ask Tracy — there may be options.
